 Ray Tomlinson •He was born in 1941, in Amsterdam New York but soon moved to a small unincorporated village of Vail Mills New York. •He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York where he participated in the co-op program with International Business Machines (IBM). •In 1967, he joined the technological company of Bolt Beranak and Newman where he helped develop the TENEX operating system, including ARPANET Control Network Protocol. |
